Not all situations require electronic, digital, or automated reference control mechanisms in their application. For certain situations, manual pilot regulators may be suitable and effective to get the job done.

When the process conditions are somewhat straightforward, we regularly recommend the so-called “forward pressure reducing regulators” as manual pilot regulators. Our portfolio in this area consists of several units that offer exactly what you need in order to set a stable pressure at the reference port of your back pressure regulator. Equilibar® dome-loaded back pressure regulators are available from a few millibars up to 700 bar, and we offer several manual control options to go with that.
